Oh that was good Montana, just when we were expecting a little truth. Stop by some time. I am always good for a $3.00 cup of coffee. $2.50 for water and fifty cents worth of coffee. Clarence

James you win the opportunity to buy coffee next time I know you counted the blanks. I think the wheel base is 51 inches. Corrections please------------- Clarence

Re: Hodaka Q&A
YessirrrreeeeeBob! (Er, um, Clarence and James - not Bob) 92C and 96 refer to the toaster tank Dirt Squirt ("The Fun Hundred") - and it had a longer wheel base than any of the earlier 90cc or 100cc models. A part of that wheelbase increase came from the "fully growed up" frame it shares with the Model 94 and 95 "big" bikes (125cc). And yes, 51" wheelbase.

The first ace 90,arrived in America in about march 1964 PABATCO probably wanted the first few off the assembly line and it was tested in cycle magazines. ----- Clarence

Re: Hodaka Q&A
Short answer the B+ does not show up in any of the price guides and I think I have them all. Did hodaka build a B+ yes they did, is there confusion. yes there is. ***** Hodaka built a Ace 90. Ace 100, and then three models they called the 100Bs Model 92A, 92B and the 92B+. The 92A was produced and they sold many. A new model the 92B went into production ads were placed in various cycle publications and after a couple of months ( here comes the confusion,) the official brochures had not been produced yet, after a couple of months the ad department PABATCO placed a ad stated they liked the 92B so much they wanted to call it the B+ (cat out of the bag) the buyer seen the B+ and went to the dealer that sold him one with delight. Then a printed flyer was produced that in one sentence said "we liked the 92B so much we wanted to call it the B+" the flyer was listed as the 92B. Just before the 93B super rat was produced hodaka introduced the 100B model 92B+ with matching flyer and then shortly the ads stated now there are four hodakas the 92B+ , 93B, Wombat and the Combat Wambat. In all my retail price guides I have 5 or 6 they list the 92A 92B but not one lists the 92B+. Not many of official 92B+ were made and they had little change from the 92B. The 93 super rat matched to the 92A, the 93A super rat matched to the 92B, the 93B super rat matched to the 92B+ ----- Clarence
