94 wombat exhaust compatibility

Post by Yamadaka »

Are there any other pipes that will fit a model 94 wombat?

I suspect no one knows quite how to answer the question in a useful way - including me. So, let's see - a Model 94A pipe would bolt on. After market pipes of all sorts can be made to fit - some fabrication required. (see what I mean? Not a very useful answer. Sorry 'but that.)

There were two basic mounting styles of the pipes for the 100/125 cc bikes. Those with a threaded nut incorporated with the pipe that threaded directly onto the exhaust spigot and those with the more usual slip-fit coupling held in place with springs. The latter style require a pipe joint (PN 939192) to fix to the threaded cylinder exhaust spigot. I believe PN 939192 will fit on a M94 cylinder and that should open up several options. Otherwise, a good welder/pipe builder can make just about anything work.

I don’t remember exactly but this is a Yamaha aftermarket pipe for a 125 or 175. It fit my 03 real nice with small adjustment to the head pipe.
