Hodaka Days '18 transport

Post by thrownchain »

I'm committed to going in '18 and will/ can be hauling bikes and parts if you need the service. Limited space, but will work to get your stuff out and/or back in one piece. Can also do pick up and deliveries along the way. Have been known to swing up into Mich out or back.

Probably be good to say where you are starting from . . .
"If you can't fix it with a hammer, then it's an electrical problem"
"Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it."
"You can tell a professional by the lack of wrinkles in his duct tape . . ."

The trip starts out of central upstate NY, travels west on I-86 to I-90 to I-80 to I-84 to Pendleton OR. I have hauled for people out of NY, NJ, Vt, PA, and can cover all of New England, have also made drop offs and pick ups along the way out and back with Mich being a popular destination. Swung north last year into Minneapolis and went the "northern "route to Oregon. Can do one way or round trip, bikes or parts. Any other info just ask.

Reviving this again. Have talked to some "new" people about making the trip. Still putting the load together so if you're thinking about doing it "get 'er done".

Well we're down to less than 90 days to the event. Things have changed here, got the granddaughters coming to live with grandpa, but still committed to going to Hodaka Days. Still no real load developed yet. So if you're going and your bike or bikes need a ride out and back contact me, or just out or back, or if you found one on the Web that you need delivered, whatever the need I have room.

Less than 2 months. If I don't have a load I don't go, as much as I would like to. Not feasible for me to go out on my own.

Although it would be nice not to haul the trailer, puts a big dent in gas mileage.

Extremely short load this year, almost not worth going, but agreed to bring one back, so have to make the trip. Will be bringing more stuff for the swapmeet including 2 rebuilt/ refreshed 100cc motors. Plus some other "stuff".
