Re: steering head badges
Out on the limb and the branch could brake, you are correct about the ace 90 small stamped plate above the left rear shock. The ace 100 was a larger stamped frame number above the left rear shock, no aluminum plate. I think the 100B's 92A, 92B and 92B+ had the frame stamped like the ace 100 and had ...

Re: B+ Rear Fender Needed
Not trying to confuse but as I read it the ace100 rear fender 928630 was also on the 100B beginning model 92A confusing but some call it a 92b also. Most of the 92A's, 92B and 92B+ used fender 928630A. Clarence

Several lines are in error not that anyone made an error it is just that I see some numbers different than I remember. Line 7 and 8, 100B's made back to back, (it is my belief that after the first batches of the model 93MX super rat's Hodaka they finished off their run of ace 100 model 92's) and tha...

Re: Hodaka Q&A
Thanks Ed and victor. I pulled out a pile of AL cylinders and its not that easy to know what they all fit. I sold the shop and never rode anything after the combat wombat. Just looking at some of my old records, I had 6 rats, a couple of combat wombats and other 100 cc models, on the floor at one ti...

Re: Carburetor
To me it looks like you already purchased the new carburetor and a usable intake. So the question is can you tune it and where should you start? Do you have any hodaka friends close or biker neighbors? The Ace 90 manual covers tuning very well, The official hodaka workshop manual 209004 includes the...

Re: Hodaka Q&A
One more question on aluminum cylinders, what cylinder had the bridge in the exhaust port and were we to remove it? And now hodaka question, what was the retail list price for the Ace 100 model 92, and 100B models 92A, 92B, 92B+. Also how many flyers came in every ace100 crate? Finally, what was the...

Albert I think springs on the exhaust should be pulling it forward not to the side. I would like to donate a ring, base gasket or head gasket to the cause. hope you don't need any of that. Looks really good! ------ Clarence

Back in the late 60's John Cosco came to my hodaka shop on center street in Kalispell montana, This was my second shop. I bought the old stage coach building and corner lot for 1,200 dollars room for the showroom parts and repair. A local young lad Max Amasager had stopped by on his 100cc bultaco to...

Re: Hodaka Q&A
Thank you Ed that really helped me. It looks like the intake porting is different also. The intake manifold on the combat wombat will bolt up to the 92B super rat. The 03 and 97 super combat have the same intake manifold spacing. When I am wrong please tell me. ----------- Clarence

Re: Hodaka Q&A
Being a hodaka dealer at a young age, I started my shop in the fall of 1964. Racing every chance that came by, I tried every product and oil that came out. To mention some things that didn't work for me,I straight cut gears just didn't help that I could tell, Fancy custom heads looked good but stock...

Re: What's This?
Short question long answer. I graduated in 1961. On the farms we had over 100 head of stock cattle and 30+ sheep. In the fall I was hauling hay home for the stock 14 miles by my self. In the winter There were Blizzards and way below freezing weather. Every day I hauled hay 14 miles from Valley View ...

The prediction rose to -51 below zero. Windblown drifted snow had filled the furnace. The furnace repairman was then a 15 year old kid that would come to my hodaka shop in 1972. '''small world'' good visit! Cold water still frozen. I like the fire place, Jill thought she should be able to use my eme...
