Re: New to the game!!
I would start with seals and gaskets you will need them. Other than that, the condition of the other other engine parts and the acceptable tolerances would dictate what to order. I would not bore and use a new piston, if it was good to go. ---- Clarence

Re: Hodaka Q&A
Ed your answer is the one I was looking for. I think it has something to do with our age (my age)? To us of the past, a long stroke engine is going to be a slow rpm engine with a lot of torque, boom, boom, boom. A short stroke engine is not going to have allot of torque but will be a screamer. In th...

Re: Hodaka Q&A
Victor the 92B had a high fender also. The front fender and fender stay are the same between the 92B and the 92B+. The only difference between the literature and , brochure are for the 92B verses the 92B+ are the chain/sprocket and engine internals on the 92B+. Clarence

Re: Hodaka Q&A
Victor the picture labeled A is a ace 90 pipe. Picture B is a Ace 100 pipe. C is the 100B model 92A pipe, also note the 100B 92A would also have the lower front fender. Pipe D would be for the 100B model 92B, later referred to as a 100B+ and for the factory 100B model 92B+ that had changes and inter...

Re: Hodaka Q&A
As I put my hodaka B+ information to bed I read my 100B+ manual owners hand book and illustrated parts list. It list part number 929510D as the owners hand book for the 92B+... therefor 929510C for the 92B and 929510B for the 92A. The Ace 100 manual number is 929510A. The last thing there is not a f...

Re: Hodaka Q&A
On page 62 of the HODAKA book written Ken Smiths it mentions several times that a Ace100A never existed. That is absolutely correct there was never a model Ace 100A ever produced. The three models produced after the Ace 100 were each called a 100B so you had a 100B (model 92A), a 100B - model (92B) ...

Re: Hodaka Q&A
Dale your second answer relative to the B+ is partly correct the, the 92B was nicknamed a B+ as a marketing tool. If anyone has better information on the subject please share it. after hodaka made the ace 100 they produced the 100B's a name given the street version to each super rat. Please stay wit...

Re: Hodaka Q&A
Correct Dale. Very pretty yellow and red, mine is back to back 92B+ on one side and the 93B super rat on the back side. 92B+ is the model, ace 100B is the name and sometimes it was referred to as the 100B+ I think?? -- Clarence

Re: Ace 100B or Ace 100B+
To get understanding, there would have to be discussion and dialogue. Model number verses name, 3 motor cross / super rats Model 93, 93A and 93B. Three street versions each named a 100B, models 92A 92B 92B+. I will have to look up the answer to your last question and answer it tomorrow. Yes there ar...

Re: Publishing Confusion
Houston can we find a problem ? I thought the 96 dirt squirt was also called a 92C??it would have 92 parts?? There were 3 dirt squirts produced right ? I guess I can't see any problem I would think the model 96 would start with a 92 motor part number. ------------ Clarence
