For sale I saw several Wombats, 2 model 98 Super Rats a Dirt Squirt, a Super Combat, a Road Toad and a Thunder Dog... I ...

You didn't by chance grab a handful of clutch by habit as I do sometimes on my modern bike. As I see this is post number 3 for you so Im taking that maybe your new to Hodaka. So as you know the bike must be in neutral. Kelly That threw me for a loop the first time I tried to start my CW. I was like...

Re: Ebay prices
The best is when they list the part incorrectly, it's ratty, and they are asking twice what Paul, Bruce or Dan are asking for an unused part. I just sent a message to a seller telling him what the part fit so he could at least list it correctly. However sometimes when they don't know what they have ...

Re: Offroad boots
Keep using them they will break in or you will get more use to the fit and comfort level. The cheaper boots are also just not as comfortable. However if they cause blisters you have an issue...I always use Alpinestar Tec 8's and my last pair broke in comfortably after 1 ride. However since I have be...

Re: Taber how me doing
Guys the rat fender should have 6 holes (the 2 extra are for the rear most number plate bracket to mount to)...also the rat fender is cut out to clear the chain (at least the 1970 one I have is that way not sure about the A or B model) ..the CW fender is flared in to clear the chain and only has 4 h...

i have used 2 pencils or 2 Popsicle sticks before and it worked just fine ..just lay one across each side against the inside of the studs and rotate the crank until the piston is firmly supported

+1 on the lean pilot circuit.. Does turning the air screw in help? Try raising the needle by lowering the clip a notch? That may help your off idle response.

Re: ??Early Model 93 motor??
Thanks my suspicions were correct then as they cylinder i took off has a 2 bolt 20 mm intake.....the PO put an ACE cylinder, carb, and head on the 93 cases after they fried a top end...I should have recognized that difference from the parts diagrams..
thanks

??Early Model 93 motor??
I have an early Model 93 MX (frame # B46966) that I just began tearing down for an eventual restoration. The engine befuddles me...The case numbers are M3856 which tells me they are 93Mx cases...the cylinder head has 922501 part number on it which tells me its an ACE 100 head. The cylinder doesn't h...

Re: Piston Pin Clip Position?
Max I ALWAYS put the open end of the clip at either 6 o'clock or 12 o'clock depending on the location of the cut out area of the piston pin. I have been told that the inertia of the piston and pin hitting the top and the bottom of the stroke could compress the clip slightly. With the opening at the ...
