Couple notes: Only the 93 B came with cleated foot pegs. The 93,93A, 93B DID NOT have the brake switch mounting holes on the front backing plate. loosen the pinch bolts on the bottom of the forks put a screw driver through the hole in the axle on the right side and unscrew the axle

buy a good set of left hand drill bits and extractors for your broken bolts...i have a set from Hanson..often time the left handed drill bit will remove the broken bolt

is that a mount for the coil on the yellow frame?...i didnt think that the 1970 rats had them...the coil is mounted to the frame with a removable bracket.

if your re-plating the fasteners take an inventory using a spreadsheet with the measurements of each fastener also take pictures of each fastener group (front forks, front wheel, tank etc...) that way when you get your fasteners back after plating you can re-sort them to the appropriate bike parts.....

remove both of the rubber seals...pack with grease...put them in your wife's vacuum sealer if she has one..the vacuum sealer will pack the bearings with the grease...put the rubber seal back on and install

They are a few hundred less than a restored original Victor..shipping on my tank from India was free and only took 5 days.....a fully restored re-chromed clean dent free original will end up costing $600+ with shipping to and from the restorer...I know...I have 2, one CW one Super Rat fully restored...

I have been using nothing but WD40 for the last 20 years on all my off road bikes...o-ring chains last me 1200+ miles...only reason i replace them is because the sprockets wear out.

heads first on both sides (inners) ...ALL of them in the hub on both sides before you start setting them in the rim...then the tails (outers) one at a time on both sides...the outside spokes have about a 90 degree bend and in insides a little less...make sure you have them separated properly...here ...
