Here’s some done parts and some I’ve been collecting and prepping for the next run.

Zinc plating is pretty cheap, I collect up hardware and it cost around $25-30 bucks for a big size coffee can full. The time consuming part is prep. I bead blast all the parts first. Pretty sure the only chrome built are on the upper triple clamp.

I’m looking for hardware to add to my bulk to get zinc plated.

Victor, that’s the right bowl. I’ve never tried it but it looks like maybe a main Jet thread is the same as the inlet. So looks like someone screwed a jet into it.

No that’s not right, that should be just a tube like piece with a O-Ring that the needle slides down into. I guess a Jet may be able to fit. Check out my SR carb video and you can see the part.

The trick I guess is how to ID early vs late. I will have to ask Greg

There are two size carb caps for early and later carb. But to the threads kinda also go always. So here Greg has had these made for a fix
