Re: Color

That is red red, hodaka motorcycles were not that red as I remember? Maxes color safety red is closer and I think ___gloss XOrust hot red paint/primer in one is even closer again?? To sell for top dollar or show it as restored, to me the paint should be as close as we can get it. Around here they sa...

Re: combat wombat barn find

Albert you kinda over paid me. Let me know your engine piston ring size and I will send you a free spare ring. Remember the the groove's on the clutch pinion bushing that go off of the edge, that end goes toward the engine. Your pinion bushing looked really bad, The clutch nut was loose I think, If ...

Re: Color

Re: old man going north

Expatriated is not a word, we use down in the cow barn much. But that is what happened to my expansion chamber when I hit the big rock. I was irritated because some people thought I was enubrated, some times I cannot spell spellcheck. Clarence

Re: old man going north

Well the old man slipped by one more time, he is starting to just reflect on the past, not wanting to work on a old hodaka for tomorrow. He did state that Max started this thing with his tools going north and he also wondered how Victor is doing. He did leave me with a yellow and white headlight and...

Re: B+ Rear Fender Needed

Frame number 48913 was for a 92A their frame numbers ran from A38713 to A51012. The 92B started with frame number A51013, it was dubbed a B+ in about June 19071. The factory 92B+ serial number started with frame# A67613. Glad you found one. Clarence

Re: combat wombat barn find

Now that combat has been ridden hard, I also have never seen a clutch that used. I am wrong about the balance holes, some of my other flywheels have them in different places and one doesn't have any of the bigger balance holes, just three small ones and marked with a 2L?? Learn learn learn, and forg...

Re: combat wombat barn find

Is it the correct shaft size? To me your balance holes are in the wrong spot but what do I know about it? To me the lobe is the heavy side and the majority of the balance would be on the opposite side like the one I sent you. Regardless it is guaranteed to fit or be correct. What does out experts th...

Re: Hodaka Q&A

Well at the time about late late 60"s or early 70, Clarence thought he should sell snowmobiles also. There were folks back then, that were the dealers grapevine, well they indicated we were going to see 6 speed hodaka's and in there some where, we could expect a snowmobile. They indicated a for...

Re: steering head badges

Out on the limb and the branch could brake, you are correct about the ace 90 small stamped plate above the left rear shock. The ace 100 was a larger stamped frame number above the left rear shock, no aluminum plate. I think the 100B's 92A, 92B and 92B+ had the frame stamped like the ace 100 and had ...
