A couple of my bikes have sat for 5 years or longer with the same oil and they do not have moisture in them. I do start them from time to time but never run them long enough to get to warm. Was probably overfilled to start or maybe sitting outside in the elements.

Re: axle help
I found a sleeve that was 15mm to 12mm step down on the auction sight and cut it to fit in the bearings and cut some 12mm spacers to fit the wheel. It turned out pretty good and was easier than I expected. That sleeve made it pretty easy also for the fork leg that has the bigger hole that clamps dow...

Re: axle help
Max what did you do about the larger fork side or were your forks 12mm on both sides. One of my legs has a 15mm hole and the small side is 12mm.

axle help
I am trying to fix a set of 30mmCerianis to one of my Hodaka's and having issues finding an axle to work. I did not use the Ceriani clamps but used a set from another Hodaka. The axle I thought would work I think is from a Yamaha but the sleeve that is slotted to clamp down on the axle is to big to ...

Re: 30mm ceriani forks
Looks like the piston has the most damage and the rod may be usable. Still would like a better option.

I have a pair of 30mm Ceriani forks that one tube was frozen and would not budge. Some how moisture had gotten in the tubes and rusted the piston on the damper rod eneogh to sieze up the works. After much soaking in evaporust, marvel mystery oil, wd 40, heat etc I finally got it apart. I hope the da...

I did not know they made 28mm Ceriani forks, I always thought 30mm was the smallest.

Re: Baby Ceriani Parts
I thought I had a set of boots Hodakamax but only found some seals for the Ceriani forks in my stash. I had a nos set of forks a while back but for some reason sold them off. I was looking to buy another set but the deal fell thru. I would still like a set for my Larry Powell bike but no luck so far...

Sent you a pm Laurie but not sure if it worked. I hate to say I have never used the pm system on this site. Let me know if you did not get it. Thanks for the offer and looking to see if you have a set.

triple clamps
What 30mm clamps fit an ace 90, 100 frame, I can't remember if it was a 100b or Wombat or? I have some 30mm Ceriani forks but don't have the stem for the Ceriani triple clamps. Figured I can get some clamps off the auction site if I knew what ones to get.

I like the Curnutt rear shocks. I have been looking for a set 12 inches eye to eye for quite some time with no success.

Re: Gear Set Identification
Will the 100 control shaft work for the 90 5 speed set? I have one of those gear sets that has the snap ring holding the sprocket on. My control shaft seems to bind some times and I was thinking of trying the 100 shaft. I had real trouble trying to adjust the control shaft for proper shifting but fi...

I would need things blasted at one time or another. From what I have seen it makes parts look like new again. I bet the set up is pricey.

Re: 2015 Hodaka Calendar Sale
Love the calender but slightly disappointed. I thought the Larry Powell bike was to be on the front cover and a short write up about Larry but it is on the back and no write up. Still love it and thanks for all the hard work it is an honor to make the cut. I really like the Rickman's and the Super R...

Re: Hodaka Headlight Options **Solution**
MTROB I think the ace 90 and early 100's used a 15w/15w headlight so that would not work on the early bikes. The later 100b had the 30w or I could be all wrong on that but pretty sure the 90 was a 15 watt.

Re: Hodaka Headlight Options **Solution**
I thank you also, I have had a burned out low beam on my ace 90 for years and had almost given up on ever getting a replacement. This look like a good cheaper way to do it.

Re: rear sprocket
Thanks Clarence, I will probably just leave it alone as I probably will never start the bike up or ride it. I just noticed while spinning the rear tire the chain gets tight in some areas and loose in others suggesting the sprockets are worn. I am tempted to start it but don't want any bad things to ...

Re: SHIFTING ISSUES
You probably need to keep adjusting the shift mechanism in the case. If you can get it to shift in and out of 3rd gear every time you try it should work ok unless the shifter case has some worn parts. Try going 2nd to 3rd, 3rd to 4th and back down to 3rd. If this works each time you should be good. ...
