The high front fender suggests B+, though some B s had that. B+ had cushioned rear hub and resettable odometer. A nice, clean looking survivor for sure!

I've never done this but couldn't you put the sleeve into the seal with the collar to the outside, apply Permatex, and put the sleeve & seal together over the shaft into the case with out disassembling the cases. Leave the collar attached.

I check the forum regularly. I did recently acquire a Dirt Squirt from Tom Rapp who bought it from Jim Pomeroy at Hodaka Days long ago. Tom had some good memories about Hodaka Days.

Maguro is another maker of motorcycle. It was taken over by Kawasaki. The first Kawasaki 'SG-250' I rode had 'Maguro' on the tank. A real nice 250 road bike.

Yesterday was Honor Bad Rock Day for me. I took a 30+ mile solo trail ride. Saw some great country, a few elk, and not another rider. Sheltered up under a big tree through a shower, then rode home a bit wet but well pleased with the day.
