Re: Steen Hodaka 100 project

Tether, good find, now if you are looking for items to complete the project, I would suggest first contact Terry Larson at Hodaka-part INC in Missouri, send him an e-mail Terry@hodakaparts.com. He has done a lot of work in the Steens bike building process, in the past few years, he has some parts an...

Victor, Looking at your overall Hodaka experience and where you are now, you have used your $$$ wisely and time more wisely, keep it up. You did not go out and buy first bike available, you watched and listened to the Hodaka World (friends) and for little investment, you have wisely invested in the ...

Max, would a brass grinder brush work better and a follow up with ten foil. Thanks for tip. I get people whom call all the time for fair to good shocks, if I have any, maybe they should take ten minutes and try what you did. As usual you are a inspiration to those out there whom just don,t run out a...

Might suggest something lots of 2 stroke riders did back in the day to cut noise, old VW tail pipe, its chrome probably close to same size needed and it can be shortened to work just as well, has a internal screen and baffle built in Take a look at this. other way is to find a FMF short silencer and...

You will also note the one with an X on the face of guard has rather square or flat top, the other ones have rounded top. Like Bill said ether one can be made to work with a little back yard engineering. Its the Hodaka way if you don,t or can,t find an original chain cover. Bruce

Hello Bev, I agree with Matt, please if it is possible, send more pictures of removal and replacement of bezel, that is the most important step. Joe, I understand that the original type condensers have been available from other brands of machines, and if that is the way you wish to go, that's OK, but many of the condensers out there from other countries being made today do not have the same quality. Be careful, one more thing, there are Hoda...
