Chat Group rules
I will not allow parts, memorabilia, bikes, posters banners etc.... posted for sale on this forum. Sorry but no exceptions and these are and have always been my rules.
Bikes are allowed on the Marketplace page but lately folks have been trying to sneak parts onto the Marketplace for sale.
Not acceptable.

Re: New Wombat 94 carb
Sorry Bill,
We need a lot of work on the SH website if we are going to continue to sell Hodaka parts.
Here was the correct listing for the carb with new boot. Again I am sorry for the trouble

Re: an Open Letter from Marie Diem
Marie the passing of Harlan took a lot out of the Hodaka world. Harlan's involvement as a racer and dealer with Hodaka motorcycles since the 1960's will not be forgotten. I think of Harlan in the present tense even though he may have passed his bikes, passion and legacy lives on. He is deeply missed...

Re: Hodaka LED lighting
Yes Bill we are getting close but we want to be sure of what we are selling before we go into major production. We have a Penton gentleman testing one and Ed Chesnut now has one to test also on his Hodaka. I need to get this right as Acerbis will be distributing these worldwide for us once done. A c...

Re: Stainless Steel Fender Repair
Bill I do not have anymore of the earlier style fenders that you are looking for. There was no name on them like "Baja", "Muder" etc.. they only had the Preston Petty logo. I did have some a few months back after I had purchased a left over inventory but these have all sold now ...

Re: Stainless Steel Fender Repair
Hi Victor thank you but this will not be happening. The tooling for the Hodaka fenders was not made out of steel but out of other materials so that the tools were a lot more affordable BUT we could only make aprox. 50-60 fenders out of a tool before the tool was worn out. Based on tooling costs and ...

Re: Filler cap gasket
The new reproduction rubber gas caps are made from viton rubber. Very expensive and fuel/oil resistant. Easily can make new gaskets out of plain material for a lot less but they will not last.

Re: Hodaka LED lighting
Testing over the weekend by someone other than myself provided this information in an email to me. "I gave a light to Sandy at York, he's a friend of a friend. He needed a 6 volt but Jack Penton said a 12 volt should work. When I got home I hooked a 12v LED to a 6v battery, no go. But then I th...

I can tell you that once finished all my play bikes with lights will have Preston Petty headlights with LE...

Re: Need spacers for piston can't find SH ph. #
Hi Victor, That is NOT what I said... What I said to you in the email was that I no longer had anymore of the spacers to take up excess space between the upper rod bearing and the boss on the underneath side of the new modern Wiseco pistons. I also stated that because of cost to make a production ru...
