Re: favorite rides
Looks like a great day Albert making some unforgettable memories for both of you. I can remember riding a Honda like that and having a blast on a nice summer day. I do miss those days when all that mattered was riding and fishing.

First time on a motorcycle
Today was my daughters first time riding a motorcycle. I made a throttle stop to keep it safe which allowed me to walk next to her at first to help with the clutch for taking off. She did not shift but did really good learning to take off without killing it and remembering to pull it in for stopping...

Re: Other passions???
I’m a big fan of the piano Victor. My daughter has been taking lessons for 11 years now and I’ve been to many recitals. It’s really cool seeing all the kids talents progress over the years. Her teacher had taken a break over the summer and she just had her first lesson Tuesday. It was pretty neat to...

Re: Barber Vintage Festival
I went for the first time last year. The swap meet was huge but stuff was priced at a premium. The whole facility is absolutely top notch and beautiful with more than I could take in for the three days I was there. The road race paddock was really neat with an overload of cool bikes.

Re: M95 CW tuning conundrum
I’m also watching to see what the more knowledgeable say because this is a tough one (for me). The only thing that seems to be different is your mph are more in 3rd on up but I can’t see why that would matter. My first thought was ignition but I would think that would be an issue in any gear. Maybe ...

Ace 100 trials
I finally got the Ace out in the woods for some testing and fun. I will have to admit that this is the first Hodaka that I have ridden :? and man what a great little bike. I am really impressed with how it handled and how fun it is to ride. It worked well in trials mode and I think it will be fine f...

Re: Dirt Squirt Throwdown!
Sounds like a lot a fun Matt. It also gives me hope that my Ace should be able to do the same if I have put it together correctly. I,ve only been able to ride it in the yard so far,but it runs real good and should be broke in enough to do a little flogging

Re: Petcock fix
Thank you Bob,just what I needed to know. I have been working on fitting this tank as an alternative. I like the look of an original tank, but I have been working on fitting this one as an alternative. Much smaller allowing a tighter turning radius if deemed necessary after riding more.

What type of 1/8” tap do I need. I remember reading that it was like 1/8” npt but not tapered and I cannot recall what the term for it is.

Re: Petcock fix
Just a bump so Tether might see it before it gets too far down. Also,I did not realize these were an option until seeing them on the HPI site today. I,m guessing they are better than the brass ones ?

Petcock fix
Thought that I have read that leaky petcocks can be fixed by lapping. What do you use for the lapping compound ? The reason I ask is that I tried it with valve lapping compound and it seemed to be too coarse and I had to clean them up with 600 grit sand paper. Also,is it normal to not be able to tig...
