Cellophane was the traditional material for setting the points. A little tape piece for a 'handle' on the cellophane strip helps you put the gentle pressure on it to feel when the points just begin to open.

The Super Rat fender lacks the holes for tail light mounting; and, yes, that fender looks like the common result of over zealous wheelie attempts!

Some suggestions for red frame paint have been; Valspar 'Outdoor Red', Rustoleum 7564 Safety Red, Krylon 1960 Troy Built Red, Krylon Banner Red, VHT Holden Rocket Red, Ford engine paint enamel.

Thanks for the clarification, Clarence. My 1930 HD had the total loss oiling and required the hubcap catch pan. Any effort to stop the Hodaka kickshaft leak without opening the cases would be my first effort.
