Not the same pipe Victor, the 91 racing pipe as shown fastens differently more like the ace 90 pipe. His heat shield is wielded on wires with one short one broke off and two long ones wielded on. The one AKwombat showed had one more cone in the middle. The stinger on the 91 pipe also looks smaller a...

Very god pipe, fits hodaka, It may be aftermarket but functions the same. ace90 and ace100 had a screw on pipe. It is the same as I used in the day and it is still on my hodaka. ---------------- Clarence

Re: Color

When we use the term hodakas are red that was the term often used. When you describe the color of paint on a early hodaka, red is not a term to describe the original paint for the ace 90, ace100and the 100B's. They were a red orange, no more red than max's color but not a bright red. Clarence

The hodaka, painted black Nigerian motorcycle also had a black wire cover. They were offered to the dealers at quite a discount as I remember, or else I would never have bought them. Re: Color

Having uncrated many over 100 new hodakas in the day, my observation was they were not red. they had a tint of orange, but not a faded red. They may have faded more on the sunny side of Texas and New Mexico. I never sold a dirt squirt so can't comment on its color. I did sell about 50 super rats. I ...

Re: Color

The Ace 100 was a model 92 but not a B model. The ace 100B was made after the model 92,s and had three models 92A, 92B that turned into a 92B+. there were some early hodaka's made that were black but very few. ----------- Clarence

Re: New to the game!!

I would start with seals and gaskets you will need them. Other than that, the condition of the other other engine parts and the acceptable tolerances would dictate what to order. I would not bore and use a new piston, if it was good to go. ---- Clarence
