I was curious as to what year those engine #s may have been if there is a way of knowing

One starts P226xx
and P405xx.

I noticed what looked odd to me. On the left side on top of case cover, looks like a piece of metal added where you see 2 screws ????? Is that stock or added on??

Are these bikes sought after? Can someone give me some info on this bike. The owner said it was a 4 speed

Victor, Thanks, but I found a carb and manifold. I have a Bassani pipe but I think it might be to far gone. I don't do any welding so I have to figure out what route to go. Try and get someone to weld for me OR find a Wombat pipe in decent shape OR find a wombat pipe that is crappy with a good heade...

What do you guys use to clean the OUTSIDE of chrome tanks? Has anyone just submerged a complete tank into evaporust?

Thank you to both you guys. I'm going to look at a rough 94 this weekend. The owner was not sure if he had the carb or manifold. That was my reason for asking. There may be a lot more things missing. I just wanted to get an idea on $$$$
