Re: Different Ace 100 cases...

big base versus small base , I have several of each. Early versus later , I believe going to bigger base was a lead in to going to 125 cc

Re: New here and project dirt squirt

Do the complete rebuild kit. Gives you new gaskets and seals which should always be updated. Also check the kick roller retainer or plan on that upgrade also. Don’t lose any of the spacer washers.

touched base with Lee Fabry last night, he’s still in his home, but can see the flames from his front yard . Safe so far but ready to leave if told to go.

Re: 76 alive!

Might want to run a leak down test to check for any seal or gasket leaks. Cheaper than a motor build.

original post said missing screw, leads me to believe stripped case hole. Still lean toward heli-coil.

Fix the threads anyway and move on from there. Is the post still under the sprocket?

If it’s stripped out, heli coil is the way to go.

you have pictured the shifter cover and the clutch cover. Theses attach to the center cases which should have the cylinder bolted to it. And the case half has the motor number on it.

Re: EH Wombat Motors - Anyone with a list???

most likely if there was a list it would have been Pabatco inventory list and manifests of what went where. EH motors were factory replacement motors sold as a complete unit.
